MANILA, Philippines – Travelers can now book direct flights from Manila to Da Nang to enjoy more of Vietnam’s beaches and mountains through Philippine Airlines (PAL).
The flag carrier on Monday, April 7, announced that it will operate Manila-Da Nang flights starting July 1. The flights will be offered three times a week: every Tuesday, Thursday, and Saturday.
Here’s the schedule:
- Manila to Da Nang via PR 585: Leaves Manila at 11:10 am, arrives in Da Nang at 12:45 pm
- Da Nang to Manila via PR 586: Leaves Da Nang at 1:35 pm, arrives in Manila at 5:10 pm
The flights will be serviced by PAL’s A321 jetliners, which can accommodate up to 199 passengers in business and economy class.
“PAL is committed to offering greater connectivity and promoting tourism and commerce between our capital city and central Vietnamese heartland,” PAL president and chief operating officer Stanley Ng said.
“We look forward to welcoming more leisure and business travelers onboard our flights to Da Nang.”
Da Nang is the largest city in Central Vietnam known for its beaches and as an “accessible gateway” to UNESCO World Heritage sites — the Old Town of Hội An, the Imperial City of Huế, and the archeological ruins of Mỹ Sơn.
PAL also serves flights to Vietnam’s capital, Hanoi, daily. Meanwhile, its maiden flight for its Cebu-Ho Chi Minh route will take off on May 2.
The flag carrier also offers eight weekly flights between Manila and Vietnam’s former capital, Ho Chi Minh. – Rappler.com
