MANILA, Philippines — More Filipinos are satisfied with the performance of Vice President Sara Duterte and Senate President Vicente Sotto III than President Marcos, according to the Social Weather Stations (SWS) 2025 fourth quarter survey.

Results of the Nov. 24 to 30 survey released Tuesday showed that 54 percent of respondents were satisfied with Duterte’s performance.

It was slightly up from the 52 percent she obtained in a similar poll in September 2025.

Those who were dissatisfied with her dropped from 30 percent to 26 percent, while undecided respondents hardly moved from 17 percent to 19 percent.

This gave Duterte a net satisfaction rating of “moderate” +28, up from her “moderate” +22 rating in September.

Sotto obtained a net satisfaction rating of “moderate” +16, comprised of 46 percent who were satisfied and 30 percent who were dissatisfied with his performance. Twenty-one percent were undecided.

He had a rating of +17 (47 percent satisfied, 30 percent dissatisfied) in September 2025, the month he assumed the Senate presidency.

SWS earlier released Marcos’ satisfaction ratings, which stayed at “neutral” -3.

It was composed of 40 percent who were satisfied and 43 percent dissatisfied with his performance.

Marcos’ ratings hardly moved from the “neutral” -5 (39 percent satisfied, 44 percent dissatisfied) that he obtained in September 2025 poll.

Other top officials

The latest SWS survey showed that 33 percent of respondents were satisfied with the performance of Speaker Bojie Dy, up from 30 percent in September 2025.

Those who were dissatisfied with him stayed at 28 percent, while undecided respondents increased from 29 percent to 32 percent.

Dy had a net satisfaction rating of “neutral” +5, up from “neutral” +2.

Chief Justice Alexander Gesmundo, meanwhile, had a net satisfaction rating of “neutral” +9, composed of 36 percent who were satisfied and 27 percent who were dissatisfied with his performance.

It was similar to the +9 that he obtained in September 2025, which showed his satisfaction figures at 34 percent and dissatisfaction at 25 percent.
