Missing sabungeros case: DILG seeks cancellation of Atong Ang’s passport

MANILA, Philippines — Interior and Local Government Secretary Jonvic Remulla on Monday said they will be requesting to cancel gaming tycoon Atong Ang’s passport. Ang is wanted over kidnapping charges in connection with the reported kidnapping and killing of at least 34 cockfighting aficionados (sabungeros) who allegedly cheated in the games between 2021 and 2022.
