MANILA, Philippines — There is a new Miss Universe Philippines wearing the crown, but there still remains a handful of other national titles to be handed out.

Miss Universe Philippines 2026 ended with La Union's Bea Millan-Windorski, the former Miss Earth Water 2024, as the successor of Ahtisa Manalo.

The four-hour coronation night ended strangely with seven finalists but only one title, the eventual winner, being announced.

Absent from proceedings were any runners-up, who in recent editions, would also be handed a Charity or Tourism title.

Miss Universe Philippines also appoints the following titles: Miss Supranational, Miss Eco International, Miss Cosmo, and Miss Charm.

These titles will be given out during a special ceremony on May 10 in Parañaque's City of Dreams Manila, but only to delegates who chose to accept a crown other than the Miss Universe title during a contract signing at the very beginning of the entire pageant.

There is a likelihood those four titles may go to any of the other six finalists: Cebu's Nicole Borromeo, Cebu City's Apriel Smith, Pampanga's Allyson Hetland, Sultan Kudarat's Jenrose Javier, Taguig's Bella Ysmael, and Tarlac's Marian Arellano.

Borromeo was previously the Miss International third runner-up in 2023. Ysmael, the niece of Miss Universe 1973 Margie Moran, was the first runner-up of Miss Universe Philippines 2020, where Smith finished in the Top 16.

It is also possible though that these titles will not go to finalists, as was the case in 2024 when Cyrille Payumo, Alexie Mae Brooks, Kayla Jean Carter, and Raven Doctor were appointed titlists.

Miss Cosmo recently announced that reigning titleholder Yolinda Lindquist and 2024 first runner-up Mook Karnruethai Tassabut will be in the Philippines from May 9 to 12. They will part of the the weekend announcement event of the new Miss Cosmo Philippines.

The event will also serve as a farewell to reigning Miss Cosmo Philippines Chelsea Fernandez,  the current Miss Cosmo first runner-up.

Miss Charm previously announced their own current titleholder Anna Blanco would also be in the Philippines from May 9 to 11 to witness who will be the next Miss Charm Philippines to succeed the previously mentioned Payumo. — with reports from Earl D.C. Bracamonte
