DUE to extreme heat forecast in the province that may reach "danger" level, Dr. Elbert Edaniol, president of Occidental Mindoro State College (OMSC), ordered the suspension of the mandatory wearing of prescribed uniforms on weekdays, as well as Filipiniana and Asean-inspired clothing beginning Monday, March 10, until further notice.Students are allowed to wear white shirts or polo shirts, black or maong pants (except ripped jeans), rubber shoes or any closed shoes, and sandals for female students.
Based on Office Order 61, series of 2025, the wearing of prescribed uniforms is optional.
Faculty and employees are allowed to wear appropriate smart casual attire as defined under Civil Service Commission (CSC) Memorandum Circular 16, series of 2024, on the revised dress code for government officials and employees. They are also expected to refrain from wearing attire prohibited by the CSC.
