Michael V. paid tribute to the late Nora Aunor in a special way: making a portrait sketch of the Superstar.
On Instagram, the Kapuso Comedy Genius shared his beautiful sketch of the award-winning actress.
"Superstar," Bitoy wrote in the caption.
He then listed the five "requirements" of being a "superstar" in the Philippine entertainment industry, according to OPM icon Rico J. Puno, and said that Nora was the only one he knew who qualified for the title.
"Iisa lang ang kilala ko sa showbiz na na-achieve lahat ito simultaneously at one point in her career… Si Nora Aunor lang," Bitoy said.
"May iba pa ba kayong kilala in this generation sa industriya natin na kayang pumantay sa achievement n'ya? I seriously doubt it. Rest in peace, Superstar," he added.
Nora's daughter Lotlot De Leon expressed her gratitude to the Kapuso comedian for honoring her mom.
"Salamat, salamat," she wrote.
Nora passed away on Wednesday at the age of 71. According to her son Ian De Leon, the National Artist died of acute respiratory failure.
The multi-awarded actress was named National Artist for Film and Broadcast Arts in 2022. Some of her best films can be streamed online, including "Himala," "Minsa'y Isang Gamu-gamo," and "Tatlong Taong Walang Diyos."
In the wake of Nora's passing, many celebrities took to social media to honor her memory and unimpeachable legacy.
Meanwhile, Bitoy is known for paying tribute to various personalities with his signature sketches.
In the past, the multi-talented artist honored the late veteran Kapuso broadcast journalist Mike Enriquez, veteran actor Eddie Garcia, rock icon David Bowie, and legendary comic book author Stan Lee.
He previously shared a portrait sketch of Pilita Corrales when she passed away on April 12.
