In celebration of Filipino design and elegance, fashion designer Michael Leyva has opened the doors to his newest flagship atelier at The Peninsula Manila in Makati City. The July 30 affair gathered Manila’s most stylish set, influential figures, industry tastemakers, and high-profile guests—not just to witness a ribbon-cutting ceremony, but to mark an important milestone in Michael’s illustrious career.

Guest of honor First Lady Liza Araneta Marcos graced the event, joined by Senate President Chiz Escudero, Makati Mayor Nancy Binay, Taguig Mayor Lani Cayetano, Palace Social Secretary Bianca Zobel, Palace Deputy Social Secretary Dina Arroyo-Tantoco, and Michael’s family, including his mother Merly and brother Eric.

“This atelier is the realization of a dream. To open within The Peninsula Manila — an icon of grace, opulence, and legacy — is a deep honor. I wanted to create a special and fashionable space for the people who inspire me: my muses and clients, who have become dear friends and who have helped me immerse myself in this industry and pushed me to where I am today,” the designer shared.
