Metro Pacific Investment Corporation announced the partnership of its units mWell, the Philippines’ fully integrated digital healthcare platform, and De Los Santos Medical Center (DLSMC) for the digitalization of the hospitals Corporate Clinic Management System.
In a statement, MPIC said this collaboration marks a significant step in modernizing occupational health services by delivering smart, technology-enabled care to DLSMC’s corporate clients.
The initiative aims to enhance efficiency, accuracy, and the overall quality of care across their clinics.
“The demand for digital healthcare is growing, which is why mWell has continued building future-ready systems for the Philippines,” mWell Chairman and MPIC Chairman and CEO Manuel V. Pangilinan said.
He noted that, “These digital transformations will widen the coverage of our healthcare system and hopefully lead to much better outcomes for Filipino patients.”
“Aside from our globally recognized health and wellness app, we have expanded into enterprise health solutions covering Electronic Medical Records, Clinic Management Systems, Patient Engagement and Hospital Information Systems under mWell HealthSuite,” said mWell President and CEO and MPIC Chief Finance, Risk, and Sustainability Officer Chaye Cabal- Revilla.
She added that, “Through our Enterprise Group’s mWell HealthSuite, mWell and DLSMC will champion the digitalization of healthcare delivery, setting a benchmark for corporate and institutional clinics across the country.”
Through this initiative, mWell HealthSuite integrates its advanced Electronic Medical Records (EMR) and clinic management systems into DLSMC’s corporate health services enabling real-time access to patient data, faster appointment scheduling, secure record-keeping, and enhanced operational reporting.
“This partnership with mWell is a strategic move for De Los Santos as we continue to innovate and respond to the evolving needs of our partner companies. We’re not just keeping up with the digital healthcare trend — we’re actively shaping it,” said DLSMC President and CEO Dr. Almario G. Jabson.
DLSMC Head for Strategic Marketing and Business Development Carmen N. Soriano said integrating mWell HealthSuite with De Los Santos Medical Center’s Corporate Clinic Management System will allow them to simplify clinic workflows and achieve a more connected, data-driven approach to patient care.
“This digital transformation enables us to extend the best service to the workforce of our corporate clients.” she added.
The Corporate Clinic Management System supports centralized data management, significantly improving continuity of care. Employees can conveniently book and manage appointments through a secure online portal.
Clinicians are able to access and update patient records in real time, while the system also streamlines inventory monitoring and delivers actionable insights to support operational decision-making.
Built with stringent data security protocols, audit trails, and role-based access controls, it aligns with international standards for healthcare systems.
With the Corporate Clinic Management System in place, DLSMC is elevating the healthcare experience of employees from leading corporations such as Maynilad, NLEX Corporation, Metro Pacific Water, and Maya.
