Megaworld sells P1.32B worth of MREIT shares in block deal

MANILA, Philippines – Andrew Tan-led Megaworld Corp. has sold 98 million common shares of MREIT Inc. in a block sale worth P1.32 billion, as the property giant moves to raise fresh funds. In a disclosure on Friday, Megaworld said the shares were sold on Dec. 19 at P13.50 apiece, translating to P1.323 billion in gross
