MANILA, Philippines —  Property giant Megaworld Corp. is preparing to commence the development of its P12-billion San Benito Private Estate in Batangas in partnership with CG Hospitality.

Megaworld said it is set to begin land development for San Benito Private Estate in the next few months, kickstarting the construction of roads, key infrastructure and vital township components.

“The Philippines remains a premier global destination for medical and wellness tourism, which is why we are excited to jumpstart the first phase of development of San Benito Private Estate,” Kevin Tan, president and CEO of Alliance Global Group Inc., the parent company of Megaworld, said.

The 25-hectare integrated active wellness township in Lipa City will feature a diverse mix of curated residential offerings with varying themes and concepts, including private villas and exclusive residential lots, commercial developments, and leisure, recreational and holistic wellness facilities.

It will also house dedicated sports and leisure hubs, an active adult center and expansive green and wellness parks.

“We are developing this wellness community to celebrate and honor the natural beauty of Batangas, and at the same time provide our future residents and guests with direct, seamless access to the country’s most celebrated wellness sanctuary, The Farm,” Tan said.

Megaworld said one of the key features of owning a property in San Benito Private Estate is the exclusive access future residents will have to the health and wellness facilities of The Farm at San Benito, Autograph Collection.

“We are very conscious about making sustainability, wellness and longevity the key benchmarks of our new developments. This partnership with The Farm allows us to integrate global wellness standards into the very identity of San Benito Private Estate, helping us create a community where health is a way of life,” Megaworld president and CEO Lourdes Gutierrez-Alfonso said.

San Benito Private Estate is a landmark collaboration between Megaworld and CG Hospitality, the hospitality arm of multinational CG Corp. Global, that owns the globally-acclaimed The Farm at San Benito, which is operated by Marriott International under Autograph Collection.
