Mayon Volcano lava effusion persists for 187th day — Phivolcs

MANILA, Philippines — An effusive eruption occurred at Mayon Volcano in Albay for the 187th consecutive day early Saturday morning, according to the Philippine Institute of Volcanology and Seismology (Phivolcs).  The Phivolcs said footage and photos recorded the lava effusion from 4:11 a.m. to 4:40 a.m.  READ: Phivolcs may raise Kanlaon alert level if explosive
