MANILA, Philippines — Actress and wellness advocate Maxene Magalona and entrepreneur and content creator Ava Diaz Daza are among the featured personalities at the fourth season of "Ladies Who Launch," an event focused on women entrepreneurs and their experiences across different industries.
Organized by Leading Ladies, the event will take place on November 14 at Greyhound Café in Ayala Triangle Gardens, Makati City.
Joining Magalona and Daza are women behind several homegrown businesses and organizations, including Charisse Tinio of Nice Print Photo, Steffi Santana of Lola Nena's, Jmie Icasas of The Kind Cookie, Janine Bacsa of Schild Studios, Ace Gapuz of Blogapalooza, Niña Cuenca of Atelier 818 Jewelry, Ashley Cayuca of Just Show Up Club and Mia Juan of Executive Virtual Assistant Philippines.
Now in its fourth season, the event brings together entrepreneurs, creatives and professionals at different stages of their careers for discussions on business, personal growth and the challenges of pursuing their goals.
Leading Ladies co-founders Cat Ilacad, Rache Stern and Rica Peralejo-Bonifacio are behind the initiative.
Ilacad, who has spent more than two decades building businesses, said the gathering is intended to give women a space to learn from others with similar experiences.
"Sometimes, all a woman needs is to be in a room where she feels inspired, understood, and encouraged to take that next step. We want Ladies Who Launch to be that room. A place where you can meet someone who has been where you are, learn from her experiences, and leave feeling a little braver about pursuing your own dreams," she said.
The fourth season is presented by Leading Ladies, with Converge SME Solutions, Insta360 and Tecno as co-presenters.
Organizers said the event will also include opportunities for participants to connect with other professionals and potential business partners.
