Since debuting in 2021, the Italian singer-songwriter Matilde G has actively participated in songwriting, releasing original tracks such as "Hypocrite," "Digging For Diamonds," "Doorbell," "Fighter," and "Ti Voglio." The rising Singapore-based pop artist already performed on global stages, including Italy, Singapore, Japan, Maldives, Malaysia, the USA, and the UAE. In 2023, she received the MUSIVV Award for Best Singer Residing Outside the Middle East. Continuing this momentum, she opens 2025 with her new single, "Baddie Con Un Cuore."
Blending raw emotion with high-energy pop, Matilde G creates music that is both empowering and relatable to an international audience.
"My songs explore love, heartbreak, passion, and the struggles of growing up, with an ever-evolving vibe," she shared. She also enjoys experimenting with genres, finding the process both refreshing and exciting.
From an early age, music served as a compass. "Growing up with ADHD and battling self-doubt, it was my escape and my voice."
For instance, she added, "My song, 'My Instincts Are Tragic,' reflects this journey. At eight years old, I still couldn't read fluently, but I could play the piano and sing like it was second nature."

Transforming struggles into melodies has given her the courage to connect with others. "It keeps my ADHD in check. It's like the chaos has a purpose. Music isn't just what I do; it's the love of my life."
Matilde G recalled the first time she performed as a finalist at a European festival, recounting how overwhelming it was as a 12-year-old on stage, "It was like stepping into a space where I finally belonged. Sure, it wasn't perfect, but that moment lit a fire and made me realize I was exactly where I wanted to be."
Another pivotal experience was performing at the Formula 1 Grand Prix. "It wasn't just the scale of the event; it was the sheer energy of performing in front of a global audience in a high-pressure environment."
Determined to rise to the occasion, she delivered a commanding performance. "I realized that the bigger the challenge, the greater the reward. It was a defining moment that pushed me to grow as an artist and reminded me why I love doing this. Music has the power to captivate anyone," she said.
Recently, she released "Baddie Con Un Cuore," or "Baddie with a Heart," a song about self-worth and embracing the softer side of love.
"It blends English and Italian lyrics, creating a bridge between my heritage and my pop identity." She collaborated with acclaimed songwriters Julian Feifel, Nikki Williams, and Shir Yael Czopp, all sharing a vision of independence and vulnerability.
The music video, filmed at the Castello di Torre Alfina in Viterbo, Italy, visually complements the song's theme.
Her connection with listeners is something she deeply values. "When someone tells me that one of my songs helped them through a tough time or when I see fans singing along at a concert, it's a feeling like no other. It's proof that music can create a bond stronger than words."
For 2025, she aims to continue evolving as an artist by releasing new songs, collaborating with musicians, and engaging with fans through online content and live performances. She also expressed excitement about the possibility of visiting the Philippines.
"The Filipino audience is extraordinary, so warm, passionate, and deeply connected to music. Performing in Manila is definitely high on my list."
To her listeners, she offers a message of reassurance. "Emotions are natural. It's messy and beautiful, and my music is a reminder that we're all in this together. There's strength in owning every emotion, whether it's joy, heartbreak, passion, or self-doubt."
