MANILA, Philippines — Actress Matet de Leon shared a photo with her siblings, along with a caption that intrigued social media users.
In Matet's latest Facebook post on Tuesday, the picture shows Matet with Kiko, Kenneth and Lotlot, all smiling.
“Eto nga pala ang ngiti ng mga ampon na walang mana. Mukha ba kaming may pake?" Matet captioned the post.
Matet's post came after the alleged misunderstanding between Superstar Nora Aunor's biological son, Ian de Leon, and his adopted siblings. Ian is the only biological child of Nora and actor Christopher de Leon. Matet, Kiko, Kenneth and Lotlot were adopted by Nora.
Days after Nora's first death anniversary, Ian said in his interview with broadcast journalist Rico Hizon that he is the sole legal heir of Nora and has been assigned to lead and uphold all the properties and legacies left by the late showbiz icon. Nora died on April 16, 2025.
He put up the Nora Aunor Enterprise and Nora Aunor Foundation, which are both one person corporations (OPC).
"I am, legally speaking, the sole heir of mom, but, of course, the responsibility holds me accountable for many things, first and foremost, all the things that she has left behind, like her movies and her body of work, like in the music industry. And also, of course, we have to be managing all those people who truly love her," Ian said.
Ian said the OPC has a “pipeline of projects” that he intends to “materialize soon.” The actor said the enterprise will focus on creating what is called “pamamahala sa mga tao na nanggagaling kay Nora Aunor,” in the form of museum exhibits. There is also a plan to do a musical, fan conventions, merchandising and concerts. A docu series is also eyed.
Hizon asked Ian about his siblings' thoughts on the OPCs and why they were not included.
"Well, to be honest, I respect my siblings a lot. Under the law, I hold the responsibility to do this, first and foremost. It's not just mainly for show, it's not mainly for fame, or just because I'm the sole heir, not to brag about. But, of course, I hold the responsibility to do this in their favor. And of course, to uphold the Enterprise on its own as an OPC. It's not an inclusion or family politics. My responsibility here does not exclude them or erase them from any family relationships," Ian said.
