Host Billy Crawford will be joined by new celebrity judges Nadine Lustre, Janno Gibbs, Arthur Nery, and Pops Fernandez.

Meanwhile, 16 celebrity contestants will perform in full disguise, and only one will make it through to the finale without ever being unmasked.

Based on the global hit from South Korea, Masked Singer Pilipinas continues to challenge audiences to guess who's behind the costume — while showcasing powerful vocals and show-stopping stage presence.

According to Crawford, unlike the first two seasons, which were filmed during the pandemic, Season 3 introduces a live studio audience for the very first time.

"Now that we have a live audience, we get to interact with them. The masked singers come alive more — especially the judges and myself. For Masked Singer, it doesn't even feel like work. It's like I'm just playing," said Crawford in a press conference.

First-time Lustre shared her immediate connection to the show saying, "There were so many memories and so many fun moments while we were shooting, so we all truly just enjoyed and bonded. I can honestly say Masked Singer is one of the most memorable projects I've ever done."

When asked who stood out most, she revealed a favorite contestant — without spoiling the identity, "I liked a lot of them because they were all so talented, but the one who really stood out to me was Foxtastic Samurai. All of his performances were different — the arrangements and the materials — I was blown away every time he performed, so he's my bias. The person was exactly who I thought it would be. That's why he's my favorite — because he's the only one I guessed right."

Nery, a former Masked Singer contestant himself, admitted feeling nervous initially. "But when I saw who I was working with on the panel, they really welcomed me. It felt very different from when I was a contestant and hidden. Now I get to talk to people, and we just had so much fun," he said.

Fernandez, on the other hand, shares that the excitement of guessing who's behind the costume is just as intense on the panel.

"When viewers watch, they'll experience what we did — we got to watch amazing performers and at the same time, we were so excited to guess who they were. In the beginning, we were still feeling each other out because we didn't know what to expect. But after the first episode, that was it — we realized how fun it was with all the teasing, joking, and laughter. It was a joy. I think people need to watch it to understand what we mean," Fernandez noted.

Gibbs echoed the same sentiment and said, "It was a joy coming to work every time because, first of all, our team became like a family throughout the shoot. We had so much fun — Pops would even bring food. Beyond that, we were all excited for the performances because they were all so good. They weren't just showing off vocally but also in the arrangement and interpretation of the songs, which made guessing even harder."

Behind the scenes, the creative team worked tirelessly to ensure this season surpasses all expectations.

"Our entire production team poured their hearts into creating the most spectacular season yet. Every performance, every costume, and every clue was crafted to deliver an unforgettable experience," shared Valerie Del Rosario, Studio Viva president and COO and Viva Communications senior vice president for content creation.

"Masked Singer Pilipinas Season 3" premieres May 17 and May 18 at 7:45 p.m. on TV5 and Sari Sari Channel.
