MANILA, Philippines — Kapuso actress Carla Abellana politely shot back at a meme by fellow actor Janus del Prado about her wedding cake.

 A couple of days after Carla's wedding to doctor Reginald Santos, Janus posted on his social media accounts a meme making fun of the couple's wedding cake — a slab cake that looked like a coffin

"Cake! Ba't mo kami iniwan! Huhuhu!" text on the meme read, which Janus followed up with the caption, "Sisiw na lang kulang."

Carla commented on Janus' post on Instagram pointing out her and Reginald's tasted delicious.

"Masarap naman at fully edible. Pati guests nag enjoy. Para sa amin maganda siya at yun ang importante," Carla said.

As of writing, Janus turned off the comments section of his Instagram post but left open the comments sections of others.

Janus appears not to have taken Carla's response well as he posted on his Facebook account last January 1 a subtle jab at the actress.

"Ang babaw nung isang artista diyan. Can't take a joke. Nagbayad na ng trolls nag bayad pa ng press. Good luck sayo. Nag aksaya ka ng pera dahil sa isang joke," Janus wrote accompanied by several laughing emojis.

Carla and Reginald tied the knot last December 27 in a private ceremony held in Tagaytay.
