MANILA, Philippines — Former actress Marjorie Barretto and some of her children paid tribute to their family's matriarch Estrella "Inday" Barretto, who passed away last January 29. She was 89 years old.

Marjorie's siblings Jose Joaquin or "JJ" and Claudine confirmed the passing of their mother, who was in and out of the hospital during her final months.

On Instagram, Marjorie reposted as a story a post by her nephew Pocholo (son of oldest sister Michelle) that had videos of Inday with several grandchildren including two of Marjorie's daughters, Dani and Julia, and late family patriarch Miguel.

"Thank you for my momma!" Pocholo captioned his post with a white heart emoji, later commenting "Appreciate you all" when his comments section was filled with condoling messages.

Dani also shared her cousin's post after posting her own pictures of Inday and Miguel.

In one picture of the late couple during Dani's wedding to Xavi Panlilio, Dani wrote in text "Together again" accompanied by the dove emoji. In another picture where she's between her grandparents Dani said "I love you both. Rest in Peace, Mama Day."

Dani's younger siblings Claudia and Leon similarly posted on their Instagram stories photos they had with Inday, with Leon also sharing an old Philippine Airlines ID of his grandmother from the '60s.

Hours after confirming her mother's passing, Claudine shared a brief expression of gratitude for her siblings.

"Magulo man po kami but in Grief we are all United. we all did our part," said Claudine, noting that she, Marjorie, JJ, Michelle, Geraldine or "Gia," Gretchen or "G," and Inday's great-grandchildren all took turns looking after the matriarch.

"We choose Peace over everything. We don't need flowers.Your Prayers all mean the world to each & everyone of us. Maraming salamat po sa inyong lahat," the actress also said.
