The dance floor is heating up as GMA Network unveils the newest Filipino reality dance competition, "Stars on the Floor."
Set to premiere on June 28, the show brings together some of the country's top names in dance and entertainment to form The Dance Authority – the panel who will judge the performances of the celebrity and digital dance star contestants.
The Dance Authority is composed of 'Kapuso Primetime Queen' Marian Rivera, 'Star Comedienne of the Dance Floor' Pokwang, and 'Dance Trend Master' coach Jay Joseph. This dynamic trio promises to bring a unique blend of star power, comedic flair, and viral choreography to the biggest dance collaboration in Philippine television.
Leading the panel is Rivera, who brings not just her star power but also her deep love for dance. For Rivera, it's all about the emotion behind every move. She's looking for performers who dance from the heart, those who can connect with the audience through their expression and passion on stage.
Joining her is Pokwang, whose career began as a professional dancer and choreographer before making her mark as a comedienne. In this competition, she's looking for entertainment value. For Pokwang, a great performance is one that makes people smile and feel good, while leaving a lasting impression on stage.

Completing the trio is coach Jay Joseph, the choreographer behind the viral dance hits of the popular P-pop group SB19. He's all about technique, creativity and coordination. He pays close attention to the details of the performance — how clean the moves are, how fresh the choreography feels, and how well the dancers move as a duo. He's looking for powerful routines that bring something new to the floor.
Together, The Dance Authority will challenge and judge the competing duos made up of celebrities and digital dance stars as they perform and battle it out for the title of the first-ever 'Stars on the Floor' grand winner.
