In a statement, the local asset management arm of leading international financial services provider Manulife said three of its funds swept the top three places in the equity feeder fund category, led by the Semiconductor Opportunities Fund with a 105.71-percent return.

MANILA, Philippines — Manulife Investment Management and Trust Corp. has seized the top spots in the Philippine unit investment trust fund (UITF) rankings after posting standout gains for its equity and fixed income funds in the first half.

In a statement, the local asset management arm of leading international financial services provider Manulife said three of its funds swept the top three places in the equity feeder fund category, led by the Semiconductor Opportunities Fund with a 105.71-percent return.

Introduced in November 2025, this invests in leading semiconductor companies that power artificial intelligence, data centers and everyday devices.

Clean Energy Equity Feeder Fund also posted a 40.67-percent return, investing across renewable power, electric vehicles and the technology and infrastructure supporting the clean energy transition.

Meanwhile, the Technology Equity Feeder Fund recorded a 37.06-percent return, investing in diverse technology subsectors seen to benefit from the continued growth and everyday use of technology.

Likewise, Manulife Asia Best Select Equity Fund took the first place with its PHP Unhedged Class A ranking second with a 37.31-percent return.

At the same time, the Manulife Asia Short Duration Bond Feeder Fund clinched first place in the fixed income feeder category – tailored for investors seeking steadier returns and lower risk – with two more Manulife funds also ranking among the category leaders.
