MANILA, Philippines — A member of the Manila Police District (MPD) has been arrested along with seven others for car theft in Sta. Cruz.
Staff Sgt. Patrick Ryan Montes Gargallo of the MPD’s forensics unit and the other suspects may face charges of car theft, grave threats and grave coercion. They were accused of stealing a van used for courier services on Jan. 30.
Another suspect, Alex Montes Gargallo, remains at large.
