CAGAYAN DE ORO CITY, Philippines — A man has been arrested after he allegedly killed his two sons who have physical disabilities in Gingoog City, Misamis Oriental.
The victims – identified only as Arnold, 21, and his brother Adrian, 20 – were found with head injuries by their mother on Thursday morning in their house in Barangay 17.
The victims were rushed to a nearby hospital where Adrian was declared dead on arrival, while Arnold died while being treated for injuries.
Probers said the suspect used a hammer in allegedly killing his sons. The hammer was found at the scene of the crime.
The suspect reportedly owned up the crime, saying he can no longer bear seeing his sons suffering from their disabilities.
