MANILA, Philippines — A Malaysian national allegedly carrying over P112 million worth of shabu has been arrested at the Ninoy Aquino International Airport.

Authorities found 16.526 kilos of shabu in the suspect’s luggage.

Customs Commissioner Ariel Nepomuceno said the operation was in line with President Marcos’ directive to intensify the campaign against illegal drugs.

The contraband was turned over to the Philippine Drug Enforcement Agency.
