MAKATI Medical Center (MakatiMed) inaugurated its expanded sleep laboratory at the MakatiMed Institute of Neurological, Neurosurgical, and Behavioral Sciences (Minds) on March 25, 2025.

The upgraded facility is expected to strengthen the hospital's capacity to diagnose and treat sleep disorders.
In his welcome remarks, Minds director Dr. Edgardo Juan Tolentino Jr. emphasized the importance of the expansion in advancing neuroscience and sleep medicine.
"Sleep is fundamental to neurological and mental well-being. With this expansion, we integrate cutting-edge diagnostics and treatment while ensuring every patient interaction is guided by expertise and empathy," Tolentino said.
MakatiMed Medical Director and Interim Co-President and CEO Saturnino Javier congratulated Minds and highlighted the hospital's continued investment in improving health care services, recognizing neurology as a cornerstone program of MakatiMed.
