MANILA, Philippines — Organizers of Pride Night in Makati had to end the program early due to a generator that caught fire.

“Emergency and safety personnel responded immediately and addressed the situation,” organizer Love Yourself said yesterday.

Ending the program early was necessary to ensure guests could leave the venue safely, they said.

“We also extend our sincere apologies to the performers who were unable to take the stage,” they said.
