MANILA, Philippines — Actress Maja Salvador shared a photo of her daughter Maria Reanna with a promise to maintain her privacy as long as possible.

Maja is celebrating the holidays in Canada with her family, including husband Rambo Nuñez and their daughter Maria, who is now a year old.

Since Maria's birth, the couple have been careful about posting pictures showing their daughter's face. That is, until a New Year's surprise where Maja posted on Instagram an image of Maria in Banff, Alberta wearing full winter clothing.

"To our Maria, posting this one and only photo para ipakita namin sa buong mundo kung gaano kami ka proud sa pinakamalaking blessing na natanggap namin," Maja wrote in her post's caption.

"Pangako ni Mama and Dada na proprotektahan ka namin at ang privacy mo kahit anong mangyari anak," Maja also said, jointly tagging Rambo and an account dedicated to Maria. "So when the time comes may choice ka kung paano mo gusto makilala ng mga tao.We love you so much anak!"

Many of Maja's peers commented supportive messages, including Enchong Dee, Jessy Mendiola, Pauleen Luna, MJ Lastimosa, Melissa Ricks, Kakai Bautista and Dani Barretto.

Maja and Rambo tied the knot in 2023, welcomed Maria a year later, and together manage Crown Artist Management.
