Maguindanao Sur village official arrested in alleged rape attempt

COTABATO CITY – A 71-year-old incumbent village councilor in South Upi, Maguindanao del Sur was arrested for alleged attempted sexual assault involving a 14-year-old girl. Capt. Steffi Salanguit, spokesperson for the Police Regional Office – Bangsamoro Autonomous Region (PRO-BAR), identified the suspect only as alias “Lando,” while the minor was identified as alias “Lyn.” According
