Magnitude 5.3 earthquake jolts waters off Sarangani — Phivolcs

MANILA, Philippines — A magnitude 5.3 earthquake struck off Balut Island in the Municipality of Sarangani, Davao Occidental, on Saturday morning, state seismologists said. According to the Philippine Institute of Volcanology and Seismology (Phivolcs), the earthquake was an aftershock of the magnitude 7.8 offshore Sarangani and magnitude 6.5 offshore Davao Occidental earthquakes that struck in
