MANILA, Philippines — Lucio Tan’s aviation service provider MacroAsia Corp. is building a P400-million headquarters in Parañaque to house the operations of its unit tasked to provide airport support.

In a disclosure to the Philippine Stock Exchange, MacroAsia said it has started construction for a new six-story building in Tambo, Parañaque to host MacroAsia Airport Services Corp. (MASCORP).

MacroAsia said the facility would stand on the 8,600–square–meter property owned by MASCORP.

MacroAsia said the headquarters is designed to consolidate the administrative, management and operational offices of MASCORP. It will also accommodate MacroAsia’s shared services center, so as to create a single hub for group-wide support functions.

The company will finance the construction through a loan from Security Bank Corp. MacroAsia said it is working to complete the project by March 2027.

Once the headquarters is operational, it is expected to improve MASCORP’s support services to clients at the Ninoy Aquino International Airport.

MacroAsia also plans to offer office spaces for third party leasing to bring in additional revenue for maintenance and upkeep.

MacroAsia, the aviation support service provider owned by Tan, is exploring more opportunities in its core and non-core businesses to keep financials in the black.

MacroAsia’s net income inched up by five percent to P1.02 billion between January and September 2025, from P975.9 million a year ago. The growth was driven by new deals bagged from foreign airlines and the expansion of its water coverage.

For 2026, MacroAsia is set to finish the expansion of its food commissary in Muntinlupa, a project aimed at doubling production capacity. The company will also raise fresh revenues from new water projects in Bacolod, Olango Island and Poro Point.
