MANILA, Philippines — The Land Transportation Office (LTO) has issued a show-cause order to the registered owner and driver of a Ford Everest allegedly involved in a case of reckless driving along the Ninoy Aquino International Airport Expressway.
In a viral video, the vehicle was seen abruptly veering away from a toll gate and crossing at high speed into an improper lane, nearly colliding with other cars.
LTO chief Markus Lacanilao said the owner and driver may face charges for violating traffic laws.
Both the owner and driver of the vehicle were ordered to appear at the LTO central office in Quezon City on Jan. 28.
