MANILA, Philippines — The Land Transportation Office has extended the validity of expiring licenses and registration for a period of three months beginning this month, the LTO announced.
“This measure aims to ease the burden of the public amid the rising costs of fuel and basic commodities, giving motorists sufficient time to comply without additional financial strain,” the LTO said in a statement.
Included in the directive are driver’s and conductor’s licenses, student driver’s permits and motor vehicle registration.
During the extended period, no surcharges, penalties or fines will be imposed for late renewal, the LTO said.
