MANILA, Philippines — Prices of liquefied petroleum gas (LPG) increased on Sunday, February 1, after LPG firms Petron and Solane announced a price hike on Saturday, January 31.
Petron implemented a P1.50 per kilogram (kg) increase in LPG prices, which took effect at 12:01 a.m. on Sunday.
Meanwhile, Solane implemented a P1.55 per kg increase in LPG prices, effective 6 a.m. on Sunday.
According to media reports, the price adjustment aligns with February’s international LPG contract price adjustment.
In January, Petron also raised LPG prices by P2.18 per kg, while Solane implemented a P2.18 per kg increase.
