MANILA, Philippines — The low pressure area (LPA) inside the Philippine Area of Responsibility has intensified into a tropical depression, the state weather bureau said Wednesday morning, January 14.
The tropical depression will be named Ada.
As of 8 a.m. on January 14, the LPA located east of Davao City had developed into a tropical depression.
PAGASA said Ada is expected to bring rainfall and gusty winds over parts of the Bicol Region, Eastern Visayas and the eastern portion of Central and Northern Luzon.
