MANILA, Philippines — A number of lifestyle destinations in urban Philippine areas are offering free electric vehicle (EV) charging stations to make ownership of such automobiles more convenient.

Megaworld Lifestyle Malls released a list of open-access charging points for EV drivers to charge their cars while enjoying nearby lifestyle options.

This is part of the company's efforts to support more energy-conscious urban living, by giving the public access to sustainable infrastructure.

Townships like Eastwood City and Arcovia City both have EV charging station, as does Lucky Chinatown, the latter ideal for food trips in Binondo.

In the Visayas, Festive Walk Iloilo is playing its part in making the shift to EVs more approachable.

Two major charging stations can be found in the central business district of Bonifacio Global City, namely Forbestown and Uptown, though the former is currently under renovation to better serve the community of growing EV users.
