"Liwanag sa Dilim," the original Filipino musical featuring the songs of OPM icon Rico Blanco, is now extended until May 4!
According to theater company 9 Works Theatrical, there will be two more show dates for the musical: an 8 p.m. time slot on May 3 and a 3 p.m. time slot on May 4.
"Totoo nga ang chismis. MAS EXTENDED PA ang 'Liwanag sa Dilim.' MUST CLOSE MAY 4!" wrote 9 Works Theatrical.
As previously announced, there will also be a 3 p.m. show on May 3.
The shows will still be held at the RCBC Plaza in Makati City.
Sparkle actor Anthony Rosaldo will play the role of Elesi on May 3, while fellow Sparkle star Khalil Ramos will alternate with him for the role in the May 4 show.
Sparkle actress Rita Daniela, on the other hand, will be part of the cast on May 3 and 4.

- 8 p.m. - Anthony, CJ Navato, Nicole Omillo, Neomi Gonzales, Denzel Chang, Fay Castro
May 4
- 3 p.m. - Khalil, Vien King, Alexa Ilacad, Rita, Paji Arceo, Lucylle Tan

Other cast members of "Liwanag sa Dilim" include Arnel Carrion, Boo Gabunada, Jon Abella, Raul Montesa, Rica Laguardia, Lani Ligot, Jasper Jimenez, Mark Tayag, Derrick Gozos, Chez Cuenca, Iya Villanueva, and Brianna Bunagan.
In the past, 9 Works Theatrical has staged other award-winning musicals, including "Grease," "La Cage aux Folles," "Tick, Tick... Boom!" "Rent," and "Once On This Island."
