ILOCOS NORTE, Philippines – President Ferdinand Marcos Jr. leads the kick-off campaign rally for his anointed senatorial bets in Laoag, Ilocos Norte on Tuesday, February 11.
The 12-person slate of the Alyansa Para sa Bagong Pilipinas is composed of reelectionists, aspiring returnees, and candidates from political clans. The coalitionis composed of Marcos’ Partido Federal ng Pilipinas, Lakas-CMD, the Nationalist People’s Coalition, the Nacionalista Party, and the National Unity Party.
The administration bets start off the campaign period at the Centennial Arena in Laoag, the Marcoses’ bailiwick. The kick-off rally follows the presser held earlier in the day.
