MANILA, Philippines – After an eight-year investigation by the International Criminal Court (ICC) that began during his presidency, former president Rodrigo Duterte was arrested for crimes against humanity in relation to his bloody drug war on Tuesday, March 11.
Later on Tuesday, the Philippine government sent him via chartered plane to the Hague, the headquarters of the ICC.
