LIVESTREAM: Makabayan bets hold miting de avance in Quezon City

The Makabayan coalition seeks to put forward alternative candidates in a Senate race dominated by Marcos and Duterte bets

MANILA, Philippines – The Makabayan Coalition’s 11 senatorial aspirants and party-list groups conclude their campaigns in a miting de avance in Quezon City on Friday, May 9. 

The coalition is offering alternatives in a Senate race dominated by bets of the Marcos government and the Duterte camp.

The Makabayan senatorial slate is composed of leaders of sectoral groups of women, fisherfolk, and farmers, as well as incumbent House representatives France Castro and Arlene Brosas.
