The event, hosted by Milflores Publishing and Rappler, officially launches 'Neither Fear Nor Favor, the Life and Legacy of Conchita Carpio Morales,' a biography by award-winning author Jose Dalisay
MANILA, Philippines — Milfores Publishing and Rappler will be hosting the book launch of Conchita Carpio-Morales’ biography by award-winning author Jose Dalisay: Neither Fear Nor Favor, the Life and Legacy of Conchita Carpio Morales.
The biography chronicles the story of the retired Supreme Court associate justice and former ombudsman. Her fierce independence and integrity brought her to the top of the male-dominated judiciary system, and stood strong in the face of many threats, including former president Rodrigo Duterte’s attacks when she was investigating the Duterte family’s unexplained wealth.
The book launch event program includes an introduction to the book by Dalisay, and a Q and A with Morales and Rappler investigative reporter Lian Buan. Rappler senior reporter Paterno Esmaquel II will host the event.
