President Marcos and his Senate bets court vote-rich Metro Manila
MANILA, Philippines – The administration coalition Alyansa para sa Bagong Pilipinas senatorial candidates kick off their campaign in vote-rich Metro Manila, again aided by their primary endorser, President Ferdinand Marcos Jr., on Thursday, February 18.
Marcos and his Senate bets are courting voters in Metro Manila, where many of the Alyansa candidates hail from. Marcos swept all 17 local government units in the National Capital Region during the 2022 presidential elections.
