LIST: Winners of the Sinulog 2025 Festival Parade

CEBU, Philippines – For the more than 40 performing contingents from different parts of the country, there was no stopping them from dancing their hearts out to the Santo Niño and their beloved fans.

Thousands of Cebuanos and tourists gathered along the streets of Cebu City to watch with their smartphones and cameras ready to take the “money shot” of the street dances of their favorite bets.

On Sunday, January 19, this year’s Sinulog grand parade brought out the competitiveness of every performer, all determined to grab the grand cash prize of P3 million for the Ritual Dance Showdown and P1 million for the Street Dance Competition.

Street Dancing Competition

1st Place – City of Carcar (P1 million cash prize)

2nd Place – Lumad Basakanon – Basak, San Nicolas, Cebu City (P700,000 cash prize)

3rd Place – Bais City Festival of Harvest – Negros Oriental (P500,000 cash prize)

4th Place – Dumaguete Sandurot Festival, Dumaguete City, Negros Oriental (P300,000 cash prize)

5th Place – City of Kidapawan Performing Arts Guild (P200,000 cash prize) 

Ritual Dance Showdown (Sinulog-based Category)

1st Place – City of Carcar (P3 million cash prize)

2nd Place – City of Mandaue (P2 million cash prize)

3rd Place – City of Talisay (P1.5 million cash prize)

4th Place – Danao City Government (P1 million cash prize)

5th Place – Inayawan Talents Guild Cultural Dance Troupe, Inayawan, Cebu City (P750,000 cash prize)

Best in Costume – City of Mandaue (P100,000 cash prize)

Free Interpretation Category

1st Place – Bais City Festival of Harvest – Negros Oriental (P3 million cash prize)

2nd Place – Tribu Masadyaon, Toledo City (P2 million cash prize)

3rd Place – Lapu-Lapu City (P1.5 million cash prize)
