The Legal Network for Truthful Elections (LENTE), in partnership with the United Nations Development Programme (UNDP), held two voter education sessions at MSU–Tawi-Tawi in Bongao as part of its preparations for the 2026 BARMM Parliamentary Elections.
Following yesterday’s session at TRAC, today’s activity engaged students from marketing, education, and political science programs. Discussions covered the BARMM parliamentary system, the upcoming elections, and the roles and responsibilities of voters.

The first session was led by Atty. Helen Graido and the second session was facilitated by Ms. Louwallien Donnah Velez of LENTE.
Participants also discussed key issues such as abuse of state resources, vote-buying, and disinformation—helping them become more informed and responsible voters.
These sessions are part of LENTE’s ongoing voter education efforts across the Bangsamoro region this April, ahead of the election period.

LENTE remains committed to empowering voters and strengthening electoral participation.
