Leader of group linked to Calabarzon store heists surrenders

MANILA, Philippines — The leader of a group believed to be behind a series of convenience store hold-ups in Calabarzon surrendered to the authorities, the regional police said. In a briefing in Camp Crame on Thursday, Police Regional Office Calabarzon (PRO 4A) spokesperson Lt. Col. Milany Martirez only identified the leader by the alias “Hizon.”
