What is an extravaganza? Well, “The White Lotus” Season 3 green carpet and after-party showed us what it was exactly. On Feb. 14, the Four Seasons Hotel Bangkok was transformed into a haven of opulence and cultural fusion, hosting the after-party for the premiere of “The White Lotus” Season 3.

The event seamlessly blended the series’ signature luxury with Thailand’s rich heritage, offering guests an unforgettable experience. We were there to witness it all. It was one of those rare moments where journalists and guests mixed and mingled with the stars of the show in one lavish event.

Usually, the stars would be cordoned off in other areas, but true to “The White Lotus” vibe, cast members such as Patrick Schwarzenegger, Jason Isaacs, Natasha Rothwell, Parker Posey and many more were out and about partying the night away as they immersed themselves in a vibrant showcase of Thai culture.

Fire dancers illuminated the space with their mesmerizing performances, while drag queens added a contemporary flair, reflecting Thailand’s dynamic arts scene. The ambiance was further elevated by a curated selection of Thai cuisine, offering a gastronomic journey through the nation’s culinary delights.

Besides global Thai superstar Lalisa Manobal, who is part of “The White Lotus” Season 3, other Thai superstars did not miss out on the fun, including Bright Vachirawit, who had a trending selfie with our very own Cignal TV ambassador and phenomenal star Maine Mendoza.

Also in attendance were Kylie Versoza and Solenn Heussaff who had heads turning because they were stunning. It turns out that they are big fans of the Max series and Maine even jokingly said that she’s game to be cast if there will be a Filipino version of “The White Lotus.”

“Sana nga magkaroon sila sa Philippines, mag-audition talaga ako! Baka naman HBO,” the TV host said.

“‘The White Lotus,’ Mike White? Maine Mendoza po! Mag-audition ako! Pero now I’m excited sa Season 3!”

The next day we were back at the Four Seasons for the cast interview. We had Jason and Patrick on deck as well as Lalisa and Tayme Thapthimthong who had the most gorgeous British accent. Yes, he grew up there.

If episode one was explosive because of Patrick’s butt exposure, Jason and Patrick said, “Oh what? You haven’t seen nothing yet!” Well, looking forward to it!

Going into Lisa and Tayme’s interview room, in true K-Pop star fashion, I noticed a big entourage of more than 10 for superstar Lisa. She’s Blackpink after all and I expected nothing less. Meeting her, she was so sweet and always smiling. You would sometimes forget that she is the Lisa of Blackpink who whips up killer dances because she’s so coy, reserved and demure.

She told us that she is still learning her way around acting, and when asked how she differentiates Lisa, the actor from Lisa, the rockstar, she answered, “I’m still not sure. What’s the difference? What’s the big difference? Because everything is just so new to me. So I’m just focusing on like, remembering my line. Hahaha.”

Lisa is playing the role of Mook, a health guru at a luxury Thai resort. The cute camaraderie between her and co-star Tayme, who plays Gaitok, is one to watch out for. She said they had special bonding time outside the set to build their chemistry.

“Yeah, we had lunch, dinner together. Yes, did some activities and some karaoke. Yeah, it was good.”

At the end of the month, Lisa is releasing her new debut solo album called Alter Ego, but she also said that if given the chance, she would do a follow-up acting project. “Of course, I would love to do more.”

Catch Lisa and the rest of “The White Lotus” Season 3 gang on the Max streaming app and Cignal channels 53 and 210. New episodes drop every Monday.
