PAULINE Rowbelle Del Mundo is proudly representing the town of Liliw in Laguna as well as the Filipino Society in New Jersey at the Miss Universe Philippines pageant.
In an exclusive interview with The Manila Times, Del Mundo revealed that for her, volunteerism is a way of life that champions social causes, empowering individuals to make a positive impact by supporting and advocating for others in need.
"Advocacy in pageantry can sometimes seem inauthentic because we're encouraged to have one just to make our resumes look good, but I believe being an advocate is a lifestyle," Del Mundo said.
"Throughout my life, I've been involved with various organizations and initiatives, lending a helping hand through medical missions, feeding programs, and organizing fundraising events for those affected by natural disasters," she added.
Del Mundo hopes to motivate others to adopt a lifestyle of advocacy, where they can make a positive impact by standing up for those in need, protecting the environment, and supporting causes that align with their passions and values.

Her family origins are deeply rooted in Liliw and Rosario in Batangas.
Music was also an integral part of her upbringing, and she took up vocal training and stage performances.
Del Mundo initially pursued higher education in music, driven by her admiration for Lea Salonga.
However, her career trajectory took a different turn that led her to establish herself as a professional makeup artist and licensed aesthetician.
Today, she oversees global social media and content strategy as director for IT Cosmetics, a luxury brand under L'Oréal.
Miss Universe Philippines is a new challenge for Del Mundo, who has already made a name for herself in local pageants, including Reina Filipina North America, where she took home the title of Miss Universe Philippines New Jersey.
The Miss Universe Philippines 2025 pageant will culminate in a grand finale on May 2, 2025, at the Mall of Asia Arena, where reigning queen Chelsea Manalo will crown the next titleholder.
