CALAMBA CITY — The provincial government of Laguna is all set to celebrate the 2025 Anilag Festival from March 9 to 15, with the theme "Sama-sama tayo sa tuloy-tuloy na saya sa Laguna (Together we continue the fun in Laguna)."

Gov. Ramil Hernandez said this year's festival promises to be "as vibrant and spectacular as ever."

The festivities will kick off on March 9 with the fluvial parade, a heartfelt tribute to the festival's patroness, Nuestra Señora del Dolores de Turumba.

This will be followed by a Marian procession and a Mass led by the bishop of the Diocese of San Pablo.

The local government units of Laguna will also showcase their finest local products in beautifully designed booths during the Trade Fair Competition.

On March 15, the Float Parade Competition will be held in the afternoon while the Street Dance Competition and a pyromusical display will light up the night.

Throughout the week, Anilag Festival will offer a diverse lineup of events catering to various sectors, including beauty pageants, a wedding expo, an LGBTQ+ presentation and a cosplay competition.

Visitors can enjoy carnival rides and a live performance by Enchanted Kingdom's stars at the Laguna Cultural Center.

A photography competition will also be held, inviting photographers to capture the festival's most memorable moments.

Anilag stands for "ani ng Laguna" or harvest of Laguna.
