MANILA, Philippines — Actresses Kris Bernal and Chariz Solomon can now add honorary beauty queens to their resumes.

They were named ambassadors of Mrs. Universe Philippines following the conclusion of the pageant’s 2026 edition, which crowned Pampanga delegate Fatima Figueroa Alvarez.

Joining Kris and Chariz as the pageant’s ambassadors were fellow actresses Nathalie Hart and Kitkat Favia, all of them receiving sashes, bouquets, and crowns of their own for championing maternal empowerment and wellness.

Kris and Chariz notably rose to fame on the fourth season of talent competition show “StarStruck,” the former making up the Ultimate Love Team with Mart Escudero.

Chariz was eliminated earlier in the competition but returned as an Avenger, only to be eliminated again. Their batchmates include Paulo Avelino, Aljur Abrenica, Jewel Mische, Rich Asuncion, Prince Stefan.

Alvarez will represent the Philippines in Sri Lanka this October in the pageant that crowns “the most honorable married woman,” vying to succeed reigning titleholder Sherry Singh of India.
