Kim Hye-yoon and Lomon in "No Tail to Tell"

Netflix

MANILA, Philippines — Streaming platform Netflix is kicking off its Korean content for 2026 with heart eyes abound through "No Tail to Tell" starring Kim Hye-yoon and Lomon.

Netflix is teasing the K-drama as "packed with playful magic, quick banter, and heart-fluttering chemistry [as it] turns one tiny 'wish' into a very big problem."

"No Tail to Tell" stars Hye-yoon as Eun-ho, a cynical nine-tailed fox or gumiho from the Myohyangsan Mountain who grants wishes for a living.

A gumiho is a mythical creature of Korean folklore, where with each good deed accomplished grows a tail and after forming its nine tails becomes a human being.

Becoming human, however, is not on Eun-ho's mind, but neither is falling in love.

An accident with Lomon's Kang Si-yeol, a narcissistic yet warm-hearted athlete, turns Eun-ho human and "a wish gone wrong sparks a magical, chaotic romance neither of them ever asked for."

"Thrown together by fate (and a wish gone sideways), they tumble into a push-and-pull, love-hate relationship filled with snappy one-liners, chaotic misunderstandings and the kind of sparks they swear they don't feel," goes the synopsis.

"As the supernatural collides with real-life emotions, the two discover that the hardest rules to follow are the ones their hearts keep breaking."

Hye-yoon rose to fame for her role in "Sky Castle," leading to projects like "Extraordinary You," "Snowdrop" and most recently "Lovely Runner."

Lomon — whose full name is Park Solomon — meanwhile is best known  for starring in "All of Us Are Dead," "Sweet Revenge" and "Family Matters."

"No Tail to Tell" begins streaming on Netflix this January 16.
