Jung Hae-in beside his Madame Tussauds wax figure
Madame Tussauds
MANILA, Philippines — Jung Hae-in is the latest Korean actor have a wax figure of himself done by Madame Tussauds as the entertainment attraction unveiled his statue at its Hong Kong branch.
The smiling wax figure of Hae-in—whose hands form a heart by his chest—is dressed in a black double-breasted Dolce & Gabbana suit with silk lapels, a white shirt and black Chelsea boots, all of them selected by the actor himself.
It reportedly took five hours to measure the actor's details, including hair color and skin tone, to accomplish the final look.
"Participating closely in the creation, discussing outfit choices and pose decisions with the team, was both exciting and overwhelming," Hae-in said in a statement. "Witnessing each intricate step come together into a single work of art was truly moving."
Hae-in is best known for starring in "D.P.", "Snowdrop", "Connect", "A Piece of Your Mind", "One Spring Night", "Something in the Rain" and "Love Next Door".

His last visit to the Philippines was almost exactly a year ago for his "Our Time" fan meeting tour.
Other Korean stars located in the Hong Kong branch of Madame Tussauds are Ahn Hyo-seop, Kim Soo-hyun, Hyun Bin, Lee Jong-suk and Bae Suzy—the latter two Hae-in's co-stars in "While You Were Sleeping".
They will soon be joined by a new wax figure of a Filipino as Kathryn Bernardo is getting a statue expected for unveiling next year.
The same branch hosts the wax replicas of fellow Filipinos Manny Pacquiao, Pia Wurtzbach and Catriona Gray. A wax figure of Lea Salonga, meanwhile, can be viewed at the Singapore branch on Sentosa island.
