JOYRIDE, the pioneering Filipino-owned mobility company, has announced a major evolution of its services, promising faster, more budget-friendly and broader transportation options for commuters across the country.

Since its launch in 2019 with its flagship MC Taxi service, JoyRide has committed to providing excellent customer service for commuters. With that care for service as its primary motivation, JoyRide has steadily grown into a comprehensive Superapp, offering a range of transport and ticketing solutions. Now, with over 16 million downloads and services expanding nationwide, JoyRide continues to transform the commuting experience for millions of Filipinos.

As part of its latest upgrade, JoyRide has introduced a faster driver matching system, applying an optimized algorithm that minimizes wait times both for the customer and for the driver-partners. The improved algorithm also ensures that all driver-partners will always have a booking lined up, and a new Auto Accept feature streamlines this process even further. In addition, the QR code instant booking feature allows drivers to instantly match with passengers by simply scanning their booking information.

Affordability remains at the heart of JoyRide's services. Since it started operating, JoyRide has maintained its strict no-surge pricing policy to keep fares affordable. Fares are calculated based on the shortest routes provided by Google Maps data, offering customers predictable and competitive rates even during peak hours.

Availability has also expanded significantly. JoyRide now operates in key locations, including Metro Manila, Rizal, Bulacan, Cavite, Laguna, Pampanga, Baguio, Naga-Legazpi, Cebu and Cagayan de Oro with plans to soon launch in Iloilo and Bacolod. JoyRide's service, along with its 24/7 customer support, is available in all these areas to ensure that more Filipinos can experience JoyRide's convenient and reliable services.

Beyond motorcycle taxis, the JoyRide Superapp now offers a wider suite of mobility services. These include four-wheel ride-hailing options such as JoyRide Car, Taxi Cab and Super Taxi Street Edition as well as dedicated airport transfer services through the Super Taxi Airport Edition. In addition, commuters can now purchase Victory Liner bus tickets and book Toyota's RentaCar service, all through the JoyRide Superapp.

To maintain the highest standards of service and safety, JoyRide has institutionalized its JoyRide Update Program, focusing on skills, spirit and equipment for all MC Taxi driver-partners.

Launched in 2023, the update includes safety and customer service programs, gear and equipment inspections, and strict document verification processes. With the 2025 update ongoing, JoyRide ensures that all its drivers remain well-equipped, fully compliant and committed to delivering excellent service.
