MANILA, Philippines — Joseph Sy, the embattled director of Global Ferronickel Holdings Inc., has stepped down from his post effective immediately. “His decision was due to personal considerations and for the best interests of the company,” Global Ferronickel said in a disclosure on Friday. “The company expresses its appreciation for Mr. Sy’s service and contributions
